Local Hidden Gems : Jar Of Beauty

  Semenjak nyoba lipstik keluaran Purbasari, aku jadi excited buat nyobain produk lokal lainnya dan kali ini giliran brand bernama Jar of Beauty! Pertama kali aku tahu brand ini waktu aku iseng - iseng lagi buka Instagram dan lihat postingan temenku yang kelihatan cantik banget dengan makeup yang minimalis. Disitu dia nge-tag akun instagram yang ternyata adalah instagram milik Jar of Beauty.

   Jar Of Beauty sendiri adalah brand indie yang cheerful yet delight, dan semua itu langsung terlihat dari packagingnya yang super fun. Since i am a sucker for cute packaging, aku langsung order their tinted lip balm and cream blush - on. Menurut website mereka, produk - produknya homemade dan mereka menggunakan pasta makanan agar aroma produknya menyerupai makanan, no wonder pas aku pakai tinted lip balm nya jadi pengen dimakan beneran hihihi.

 

Cosmopolitan Cream Blush 

   Aku suka banget pakai cream blush untuk sehari - hari karena bikin wajahku lebih lembab dan kulit kelihatan bersemu - semu natural, lebih glowing.Selain itu packaging nya kecil, jadi nggak bulky di pouch aku. Untuk warna cosmopolitan ini, kelihatannya seram di pan, warna neon fuchsia. Tapi, waktu di swatch di wajah, warnanya jadi blushing pink dan hasilnya sheer sekali.

 

  Cotton Candy Tinted Lip Balm 

   Super in love with this one! Kalau pergi ke kantor, tuh males banget untuk dandan full karena pasti di kantor bakal sarapan dan harus apply lipstik lagi setelahnya, tapi dengan pakai ini aku jadi nggak perlu re-apply lipstik, jadi aku tetap ke kantor dengan bibir yang kelihatan segar. Asiknya lagi, lip balm ini moist banget dan packagingnya higienis 

   Overall, aku amaze banget sama produk lokal yang satu ini. Oh ya, untuk harga tinted lip balm nya adalah 70 ribu rupiah dan cream blush nya sebesar 60 ribu rupiah. Cukup terjangkau, kan?

The Balm Hot Mama Review & Swatch

 The Balm Hot Mama is one of The Balm products from 'mama' series. Another mama series are Bahama Mama the bronzer and transluscent setting powder Sexy Mama. The packaging is a thick cardbroard with built-in mirror that quite big and can be used for touch up.

  Hot Mama is a pretty pinky color that has golden fleck shimmer. On my NC 35 - 37 skintone color, it turns to be rosegold color. People always said it's a great dupe for Nars Orgasm powder blush but when i swatched them side by side, they're quite different because Nars Orgasm has more pink color. This product makes a healthy looking glow while its works as a highlighter too when your cheekbones just hit the light.





  The Balm Hot Mama texture is so buttery and crazy pigmented. Most of The Balm blush are pigmented and easy to blend. Another plus point is Every skin type can wear this blush. For staying power, i think it lasts quite long time for me, maybe about 5 - 6 hours if i didn't sweat much and stayed in indoor area.

  For you who prefer matte blush than shimmer blush, you can skip this one. This blush on available for around $21 at The Balm website and another website such as beauty.com but luckily i got it at Hautelook sale half price which is around $12 - $ 15 last year. Overall, i love this blush! It's a soft color but a medium warm skintone babes still can rock this blush on.

ELF Studio Blush in Peachy Keen; Swatches and Reviews!

First i want to say sorry for long time no post because I'm working now. Yepp, I'm now an internship worker in some office in Jakarta. I have no time for blogging because i'm going to office at 7 lush am and coming back home at 5 pm which is when i already arrived at home, i feel so tired and my last destination is my lovely bed. So on this sunday, i will have some review and it's about blush on. I have reviewed Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush 25 hour in Blissful long time ago and now i'm gonna review another blush but this time is from ELF.

I'm in love with ELF because sometimes i think their price is unbelievable. I mean, i always said 'how come this good product came with $1 until $6?'. Maybe if i lived in US i will visit their store everyday and or shop by their website lol. Okay, this time i will talk about their blush in shade peachy keen.

The soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow!

My Opinion

I have a medium skin tone with yellow undertones and a NC 30 - 35 from side of MAC. I read some reviews and people said blush colour that match for are peach, berry, and medium orange. I picked this one because this colour is the most orange from the others. When the first time i tried this blush i thought this one is little bit hard to apply because i have to swatch for more than 3 times to get the colour and there's a little bit shimmery and honestly, i don't like blush with shimmers. What i like from the blush is the price (yes, absolutely it's just $3) but sadly, because there's no ELF in my country, i have to buy in Female Daily for IDR 40.000, it's about $4. The other reasons is it's not look orange-y in my skin but it's look like more orange browny and yes, it's just like i'm wearing bronze and it comes so handy to get in my small make up bag.
