Sleek Matte Me Lipstick
Friday, December 25, 2015
Fandango Purple Stunning purple grape!
Do you mind to try these product?

MAC Cosmo Lipstick Review & Swatch
Saturday, December 7, 2013
MAC has more than 50 range lipstick colors and its one of the best among another lipstick brands. Today i'm gonna post a review and swatches about one of its lipstick which is Cosmo. Cosmo has amplified finish where on the website said it's ultra creamy, full coverage, and quietly shiny.
MAC Cosmo is described as pink - coco and because there slightly has a hint of brown. It's a nice everyday color and goes with both neutral and smokey eye looks. I would say amplified is the best formula for me since i didn't find it's drying - my lips didn't chapped or cracked when i wear it. It's moisturizing and stays on pretty well. I've been wearing Cosmo for about 4 hours (8 AM until 12 PM) and when i ate something, it's fade up. Pretty normal for a lipstick staying power and i don't mind to reapply. For your info, i've been repurchased MAC Cosmo twice. I reaaally love it because it's really good and not too expensive for a high end brand lipstick, approximately it costs Rp. 215.000 through online order.
For a medium to medium - dark skin gals, i told you, you're gonna love it as much as i do because somehow Cosmo gives me a brightening effect. At first i tough i was dellustional but once my mom told it so too. If you're a lip product collector, perhaps you can try MAC Cosmo because it's pretty MLBB color.
The Balm Hot Mama Review & Swatch
Monday, December 2, 2013
The Balm Hot Mama is one of The Balm products from 'mama' series. Another mama series are Bahama Mama the bronzer and transluscent setting powder Sexy Mama. The packaging is a thick cardbroard with built-in mirror that quite big and can be used for touch up.
Hot Mama is a pretty pinky color that has golden fleck shimmer. On my NC 35 - 37 skintone color, it turns to be rosegold color. People always said it's a great dupe for Nars Orgasm powder blush but when i swatched them side by side, they're quite different because Nars Orgasm has more pink color. This product makes a healthy looking glow while its works as a highlighter too when your cheekbones just hit the light.
The Balm Hot Mama texture is so buttery and crazy pigmented. Most of The Balm blush are pigmented and easy to blend. Another plus point is Every skin type can wear this blush. For staying power, i think it lasts quite long time for me, maybe about 5 - 6 hours if i didn't sweat much and stayed in indoor area.
For you who prefer matte blush than shimmer blush, you can skip this one. This blush on available for around $21 at The Balm website and another website such as beauty.com but luckily i got it at Hautelook sale half price which is around $12 - $ 15 last year. Overall, i love this blush! It's a soft color but a medium warm skintone babes still can rock this blush on.

Review : Maybelline Color Tatto 24 Hours Eyeshadow
Sunday, November 18, 2012
Sekarang udah banyak banget jenis eyeshadow salah satunya adalah cream eyeshadow. Kebanyakan cream eyeshadow dikeluarkan oleh high-end brand seperti MAC Paint Pot atau MUFE Aqua Cream. Soal harga jangan ditanya deh, pasti out of budget buat yang kantongnya tipis kayak aku hehe. That's why, in this post i'll review cream eyeshadow which from drugstore brand and it's Maybelline Color Tattoo. Okay, let's check it out for more.
My Thoughts
Maybelline udah sekitar setahun yang lalu ngeluarin series Color Tattoo dan ada beberapa warna yang limited edition, salah satunya Barely Beige yang katanya dupe of MAC Paint Pot in Painterly dan warna hitam (yang aku lupa apa nama warnanya).
Untuk edisi permanen, Colour Tattoo punya 10 warna. Aku baru punya 2 warna yaitu Audacious Ashpalt (grey with shimmer) and Pomegranate Punk (purple browny with slight of shimmer). Waktu aku mau beli ini Drugstore lagi ngasih promo buy 1 get 1 50% off, jadi aku random aja milih Pomegranate Punk dan ternyata it's wearable.
Aku baru nyobain yang Audacious Ashpalt to hangout last week. Sadly, it doesn't last 24 hours like it claims. Cream eyeshadow ini cuma bertahan selama sekitar 12 jam and started to crease after 7 hours. Hmm i think it's not bad at all. Warnanya yang abu - abu cantik banget buat smokey eyes tapi wearable juga buat sehari - hari. Untuk urusan packaging, it stores in glass jar with black cap same as the other cream eyeshadow. Eyeshadownya pugmented banget and that's why most of people use this as eye primer before they use powder eyeshadow.
Left : with Audacious Asphalt, Right : bare eye |
right eye with Pomegranate Punk |
You might like it if :
You want something that multifunction (as eyeshadow & primers)
You like shimmer eyeshadow
You're in hurry
You want something that makes your eyes pop-out
You have oily skin
You might not like it if :
You like matte eyeshadow
You can't find it in your local drugstore
You prefer powder eyeshadow

Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Palette in Comfort Zone; Swatches, Look, and Review!
Friday, August 17, 2012
I'm not a fan of eyeshadow. The fact, i just have 2 palettes until today; the neutral and the colourful ones. Someday i realized that i need another eyeshadow palette but this time i want something travel friendly so i can carry in my makeup bag and it must wearable for everyday. So, i decided to buy Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Palette.
![]() |
My Thoughts
One of the reason why i buy this eyeshadow is some reviewers in Make Up Alley said this is dupe of Urban Decay Naked Palette. I absolutely doubt it. I mean, how come the high-end brand product can compared to one of the cheapest brand product?
When this palette arrived, i was suprised because i thought it's a small palette but it's quite big to carry in my makeup pouch and yes, it's really big for $5 eyeshadow. I heard a lot of reviews about this product and i already proved it. This eyeshadow is very subtle and don't forget it's very very pigmented. It's blendable too and like i said, it's wearable for everyday. The front is sealed with a safety seal and the back includes a small diagram on how to use the shadows.
One thing that i don't like is this eyeshadow is wrecked easily. You can see the picture above, on the left side the definer colour is a little bit broken. I love this eyeshadow because i can use it without eyeshadow primer. I didn't find too much bad side of this one except for the ugly brush. For me, this is one of the best drugstore products. It's not chalky and it doesn't feel heavy on my eyes.
You might like it if...
- You want a cheap eyeshadow with a great quality
- You want a big eyeshadow palette
- You want a pigmented eyeshadow
- You want a neutral eyeshadow that wearable
You might not like it if..
- You dont like eyeshadow with shimmer
- You can't find this one in your country

MAC Casual Color Lip & Cheek in Have a Lovely Day; Swatches and Review!

Swatches on my lip and cheek |
Sometimes, people in hurry needs something that simple and all in one
product, or maybe when we're travelling we just don't want to carry so
many things in our bag. This is one of the reason why i bought this; MAC
Casual Color lip and cheek.
My Thoughts
When the first time i saw this on MAC website, i fell in love at the first time! This is it, another multifunction product after Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge. Cheaper, and has various different colour. It comes in 6 shades and actually, i really want to try Out For Fun or Relaxation because of their gorgeous peachy orange and fresh rose colour but always sold out. There are only two colours remaining; Have a Lovely Day (nude) and Evening Stroll (purple). Evening Stroll? No, thanks. I don't want to look like a zombie. So, the only choice is nude one.
It's arrived after 3 weeks and i was so excited! I tested on my lip and cheeks and i feel a little bit confused. Why? Okay, it's beautiful when i swatched on my cheeks but on my lips, it's a big no-no. It looks too pale on me and i really looked so sick (around NC 30 - NC 35). So, i think it will be great on people with light to light-medium complexion. I tested it a weeks ago and it lasted for 2 - 3 hours on my lips and around half day on my skin, above my foundation and loose powder.
Honestly, i love this product because it moisturizes my lips and it's great for everyday use. It has matte finish, no shimmer at all and looks so natural. I bought it for $20 at Nordstrom.com.
You might like it if..
- You want a multifunction product
- It's great for all skin types
- It has a matte finish
- You have a light to light-medium skintone
- You want a product that moisturizes your lips
You might not like it if..
- You want a glossy finish
- You don't like sheer finish
- You think it's not hygienic

Ultima II Launching Party Review
Friday, July 20, 2012
That's the host, Arie |
Me, Meilani, and Rima |
Titi Kamal and Dr. Kristie |
I was invited by Ultima II to came into their launching party on Wednesday, July 18th at The Only One Club, FX Sudirman. They sent me an email and said the dress code was Touch of Silver and Black so i wore my grey (hey, grey means silver, right? :p) puffy hand shirt and mini black skirt.
I was late because of traffic jam so i came at 7 o'clock. I thought the party already started but it wasn't. It hadn't start yet and when i went in the club, i feel like in a stranger world because i don't know anybody at all! So when i saw someone whose her face is well known for me (it's Marsha from Blush Off, actually), i talked to her and asked may i sit beside her, and she said yes. It's not only her who sat around that table, but also Rima, Mei, and Shella. They were so nice and beautiful.
The party was started around 7.15 (see, that's Indonesian people's problems; always late). It started with the dancer that bring ESPC box and then the host went up to the stage. The host named Ari was funny and talkative, and of course pretty too. She wore silver dress and bling-bling wedges (i love her shoes!). She wasn't alone because there were the ambassador of Ultima II, Titi Kamal and a dermatologist, Dr. Kristie and she explained about the product that they launched; Ultima II Extraordinaire Supreme Pure Collagen.
![]() |
Picture courtesy by Ultima II Facebook |
Extraordinaire Supreme Pure Collagen or what we called ESPC is a serum for people whose entered the age of 30 or already 30 something. Why? Because generally, most of 30 years old women already has a smooth wrinkles and their levels of collagen is decreased. So that's why Ultima II created ESPC, to helped us keep our skin moistfull, tighter, and softer.
ESPC contains this formulas:
- Pure Marine Collagen, high concentrated (to replace damaged collagen skin so that it can improve the elasticity of the face)
- Marine Elastin (to help fill in the density of skin face layer)
- Dynalift (to improve skin firmness)
- Hexapeptide 10 (improve the bonding layer of the dermis and epidermis)
- Tripeptide-10 Citruline (Vitamin B5 and AMC)
They introduced us to Mrs. Liz Kusbiono who already used Ultima II product since she was in 32 years old and now she is 72 years old but her skin face still looks tight and soft. She's funny and she said she's an old fashioned woman because she never wanted to do face lift, botox, or some kind like that and she just trusted in Ultima II for her skincare products.
![]() |
Me with Mrs. Liz |
ESPC best use in the morning after cleanser and toner, and before your daily moisturizer. So for the final result, i recommended this product (even though i don't use, but my mom did) and it's best for 30-ish women. For people that same age with me or under, we don't need this. Trust me, moisturizer is enough.
By the way, for someone who support PETA or cruelty free association, i totally don't recommend this! This product is animal tested and i heard it clearly when the doctor said the scientist already tested on an animal's left and right wings.
When the party was over, we've got a goodie bag with foundation, essentials serum, and a handbag, but i was so lucky because I've got another goodie bag and it has a brush set and compact powder inside. One thing that i want to know; where's the ESPC? Is it a party that launched their new product, right? I mean, come on, it's not my first time to attended launching party and every time i came they always gave me (and other bloggers too) a product that related with what they launched. I know ESPC is expensive (it's IDR 700.000 for a box that contains 4 mini bottle ESPC) but why don't you gave us just one ESPC mini bottle to try so we can give you a testimonial about this new product. Okay, that's my opinion. Hopefully people from Ultima II read this post and will fix this in another launching party.

2. Moisturizer Mustika Ratu bengkoang Rp. 7000
3. Eyeshadow Meis No.02 Rp. 10000
4. Setting powder Marcks creme Rp. 6000

7. Lem bulu mata Junies Rp.7000

9. Lipstik Purbasari P07 Rp. 10000
Total = Rp. 99.000
Review
1. Foundation Mustika Ratu Bengkoang
Foundation ini finishingnya matte, terus coverage-nya light to medium.
3. Eyeshadow Meis (02)
8. Blush on ELF (Peachy Keen)
Sebetulnya aku udah punya blush on ini udah agak lama, udah sekitar dua bulanan. Aku juga sudah pernah me review blush on ini disini. Blush on ini aku beli di forum female daily. Aku beli barang - barang disini buat dipakai terus - terusan, soalnya sayang juga kalau cuma dipakai sekali aja hehehe.
Blush ini nggak begitu keliatan warnanya, tapi karena pas diaplikasiin warnanya orange kecoklatan, maka aku pakai blush ini untuk contouring tulang pipi aja, jadi kalau kena matahari keliatan glowing sehat.
9. Lipstik Purbasari (P07)
Nah, setelah selesai me-review produk satu persatu, inilah penampakanku memakai make up diatas;

Revlon Color Stay Normal/Dry Skin Foundation; Reviews and Swatches!
Monday, June 18, 2012
When i take a look at my blog i just realize something; i never write a review about foundations whereas this thing is one of the most important instrument when you apply make up. It's like, if our face is a canvas, foundation is a paint. So, i want to wrote a review about my one of holy grail foundations; Revlon Color Stay foundation.
Foundation smoothes on evenly for a flawless look. ColorStay Makeup with
SoftFlex SPF 15 for Normal/Dry Skin by Revlon features SoftFlex
technology that will not rub off with normal wear. Oil-free formula
looks fresh, feels natural and controls excess oil.

(left) My bare skin, (right) me using color stay foundations in Med Beige |
My Thoughts
I know this is one of the best drugstore foundations, that's why i want to try it. I just want to know how great this product and actually, it is. I didn't buy this two foundations at a same time because medium beige was sold out, so i choosed True Beige and it's waay too dark for me! This one is best suits for people who has NC 37 - NC 40 skintone. I thought 'how can i use this without look like after comes out from tanning machine??' and i try to used loose powder with transluscent colour, but it's not works.
Someday, i went to the store and almost scream because there it is, the medium shade was there! I bought it quickly and tried it at home and voila, it suits on my skin face! Okay, first time i applied it, it looks like too bright on me and so unnatural but after 5 minutes it blended well on my skin. When i use Medium Beige, i didn't have to use transluscent powder because my face looks too bright and i don't like it. I used my MAC blot powder in medium dark and it's really works.
I didn't always use foundations because foundations is heavy on my face, but this one is the exception. It feels lightweight on my face eventhough it smells not really good. Since i have a dry skin, the staying power is great. I live in a hot and humidity country so 16 hours is impossible. 9 hours is the longest time and if i just stayed in a room with air conditioner all day. People said this one has a semi matte until dewy finish, but for me it has a super matte finish. I have to use moisturizer before applied it and don't need to use face primer. If i didn't use moisturizer, after an hour my skin line will be seen.
You might like it if..
- You want a semi matte or dewy finish
- You have a normal skin
- You want a medium to full coverage
- You live in a hot and humid country
- You want a foundations with SPF
- You want a foundations with great staying power
You might not like it if..
- You have a dry until very dry skin
- You don't want a foundations with SPF
- You want a foundations with a good scents
- You want a foundations with pump
My score
3.5/5
ELF Studio Blush in Peachy Keen; Swatches and Reviews!
Sunday, June 17, 2012
First i want to say sorry for long time no post because I'm working now. Yepp, I'm now an internship worker in some office in Jakarta. I have no time for blogging because i'm going to office at 7 lush am and coming back home at 5 pm which is when i already arrived at home, i feel so tired and my last destination is my lovely bed. So on this sunday, i will have some review and it's about blush on. I have reviewed Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush 25 hour in Blissful long time ago and now i'm gonna review another blush but this time is from ELF.
I'm in love with ELF because sometimes i think their price is unbelievable. I mean, i always said 'how come this good product came with $1 until $6?'. Maybe if i lived in US i will visit their store everyday and or shop by their website lol. Okay, this time i will talk about their blush in shade peachy keen.
The soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow!
My Opinion
I have a medium skin tone with yellow undertones and a NC 30 - 35 from side of MAC. I read some reviews and people said blush colour that match for are peach, berry, and medium orange. I picked this one because this colour is the most orange from the others. When the first time i tried this blush i thought this one is little bit hard to apply because i have to swatch for more than 3 times to get the colour and there's a little bit shimmery and honestly, i don't like blush with shimmers. What i like from the blush is the price (yes, absolutely it's just $3) but sadly, because there's no ELF in my country, i have to buy in Female Daily for IDR 40.000, it's about $4. The other reasons is it's not look orange-y in my skin but it's look like more orange browny and yes, it's just like i'm wearing bronze and it comes so handy to get in my small make up bag.
- you want a shimmer blush
- you are a budget shopper
- you want an orange blush colour
- you like blush that looks like bronzer
You might not like it if..
- you want a matte blush
- you want a blush with pink colour
My final score is
3.5 from 5

Freeman Superfruit Revealing Peel Off Mask Review
Wednesday, June 6, 2012
I never thought that mask is a must until i read some article about mask (basically Indonesian) that said it's one of the part from face treatment. My first mask is Indonesian handmade, it was made from Bengkoang and i bought it in Jogja. My face feels so soft after i applied it but it was soo complicated because i should pour it in a bowl, apply it with brush, blah blah blah. So, i tried to googling a one-step mask that i can apply just with hand and don't need to wash off. I couldn't find until i watched one of Michelle Phan's video tutorial. She use Freeman Cucumber Peel Off mask but when i knew there's another variant, i choosed Superfruit Peel Off mask.

YSL Beauty Event & Touche Eclat Review
Sunday, May 27, 2012
Today i went to YSL Beauty Event with my friend, Ara at Sogo Plaza Senayan. This is the first time i attended beauty event and it was held by one of the most expensive brand. So, i arrived at 2 pm and i thought i was late, but i was wrong. The event hadn't start yet. Fiuuhh... i feel blessed because i didn't miss it. At first, i went to makeover by one of sales assistant and my make up was so natural. Too bad, i forgot to bring my camera and now i left my phone in Ara's house. What a stupid girl -,-
Next, when i was waiting for Ara to makeover, the MC called my name and i realized i'm one of the dorprize winner. There's just two winners, and the gift is Touche Eclat Limited Edition. Oh my god, i'm so lucky! I've got number one and it's pink color so it suits for people with fair skin. But that's okay, the sales assistant thought me that i still can use it for concealer. I wasn't just got doorprize, i've got goodie bag too. There's touche eclat no. 4,5, eye makeup remover travel size, touche eclat and perfume sampe, and a box of macaroons. I still don't know what flavor it is, but i thought that was coffee.

Review Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Matte Palette
Sunday, April 22, 2012
Finally, the waiting has ended! My Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Matte Palette has arrived yesterday after ordered at Coastal Scents website. When the first time i ordered this palette i choose USPS First Class Mail International as my shipping method but i was never come, i don't know why. So, i ordered again but with FedEx International Economy. It's a good service bacause i could reach my package everyday. After a week, my package arrived. I'm so excited!
It's a big palette with mini eyeshadow. I thought it was not enough for 2 months, or maybe it can be ended up only just a month but some reviewer in Female Daily said it's enough for 6 months if you use eyeshadow everyday. Because i'm not using eyeshadow everyday, so i think this palette will survive for a year.
My mom took me to her college reunion, so i decide to use this. I choosed choco brown and navy blue and i use NYX HD Eyeshadow Base as my eye primer. This eyeshadow better use without primer (i ran out of my UDPP, that's why i didn't use it) The color is not too pigmented, they said it's matte eyeshadow but i think there's a little shimmer in this eyeshadow (don't worry, it's just a little).
