Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick

  Di tengah kehebohan lipstik matte berbentuk cair atau liquid, kadang ada masa nya saya merasa bosan. Permasalahannya, saya kurang suka lipstik dengan finish glossy atau sheer (anaknya banyak mau hahaha). Untungnya, ada beberapa brand make up yang mengeluarkan lipstik dengan finish matte tapi dengan bentuk klasik, dan salah satu pilihan saya adalah Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick.


  Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick ini sebetulnya sudah lama sekali release di US namun sayangnya belum masuk ke Indonesia. Tapi tenang, kamu bisa mendapatkan lipstik ini di online shop - online shop yang ada.

 

  Walaupun finishnya matte, tapi lipstik ini tidak mengeringkan bibir atau malah bikin pecah - pecah, malahan testurnya sangat lembab dan sangat lightweight di bibir, seperti tidak memakai apapun rasanya. Lipstiknya pun tidak terasa seret saat diaplikasikan ke bibir. Packagingnya simple dengan tutup berwarna marsala dan matte.

  Untuk urusan warna, ada total 20 warna yang bisa dipilih jadi selamat berpusing - pusing ria, ya memilih warnanya yang cantik - cantik hahaha. Aku sendiri memilih 2 warna, yaitu Touch of Spice dan Divine Wine.

 

  Touch of Spice Ini warna tahun 2015; marsala. Sayangnya di bibir aku yang pigmented warna marsala dari lipstik ini tidak terlihat, malah terlihat seperti warna dirty brown rose. Meski begitu aku suka banget! Warna ini cocok untuk everyday makeup.

 

  Divine Wine Warna favoritku; vampy! Aku lemah banget kalau udah dikasih pilihan warna ini hahaha.

   Pigmentasi dari lipstik ini oke banget, sekali swipe warnanya langsung keluar dan terlihan menyatu di bibir, namun untuk ketahanan warna bergantung pada warna, untuk warna nude atau terang akan bubar jalan setelah makan berat tapi untuk warna gelap akan bersisa atau stain.

  Buat yang bosen sama liquid lipstick, boleh banget nyobain lipstik ini hehehe.

Sunday Faces #3 : Casual Date Makeup

  Another sunday and of course it must be another sunday faces. I hope you guys doesn't feel booo ~ ring see my fotd every last day of the week and today, the theme is date makeup.

  I rarely go out with my boyfriend every saturday because both of us can't stand of traffic jam. For Jakarta citizen, all of you have already know that we can sit inside a car for more than hours even if the destination's so close from where we are. We prefer have a date on sunday because the situation's not too crowded. By the way, my boyfriend doesn't like me when i put my makeup on. He loves to se my natural bare face so i have to tricked him whenever we go out. Anyone have type of boyfriend like me? Raise your hand and let me show you how to tricked them :)

  For my sandy brown eyelid, i chose pink and taupe color this time. First, i primed my whole eyelid with NYX HD Eyeshadow Primer and wait for a minute until it dry perfectly. After that, with my ring finger i applied Shiseido Eyeshadow Cream in PK 214. It's a gorgeous pink - champagne color with subtle shimmer. Actually you can use it as a primer but i prefer use primer first to make it stays on well. I use lavish color which is a matte taupe color in MUA 'Undress Me Too' palette on the outer corners and blended it well. I didn't use any eyeliner because i want my eye makeup looks soft. I couldn't live without mascara so i used Maybelline Megaplush Mascara in Blackest Black. For eyebrows, still haven't trim it yet but soon i will do it!

  Next to face makeup, i want to brightens my complexion so that's why i used another perfect combination such as Tarte Brightening Primer and Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation in Beige. Tarte brightening primer has a bad oil control and it doesn't matter for me because i'm a dry skin gal. Hello flawless has a dewy finish and today i won't look overly dewy and i set it up with Lucy Minerals Light Mineral Foundation but i forgot to took a picture. Seriously guys, it's a great mineral powder! It has a medium coverage. Next time i will review it, perhaps. After that, i used Tarte Blush in Exposed. It gave me blushing brownish plum color and i really love it. Didn't use any highlighting product because i didn't want him spotted my face and say 'baby, you're face glittering like disco ball'. Blah.

  For a lips, i used my another MLBB lip color which is Revlon Matte Lipstick in Mauve It Over but before that, i applied lipbalm first.

Review : Maybelline Color Tatto 24 Hours Eyeshadow

Sekarang udah banyak banget jenis eyeshadow salah satunya adalah cream eyeshadow. Kebanyakan cream eyeshadow dikeluarkan oleh high-end brand seperti MAC Paint Pot atau MUFE Aqua Cream. Soal harga jangan ditanya deh, pasti out of budget buat yang kantongnya tipis kayak aku hehe. That's why, in this post i'll review cream eyeshadow which from drugstore brand and it's Maybelline Color Tattoo. Okay, let's check it out for more.

My Thoughts 

Maybelline udah sekitar setahun yang lalu ngeluarin series Color Tattoo dan ada beberapa warna yang limited edition, salah satunya Barely Beige yang katanya dupe of MAC Paint Pot in Painterly dan warna hitam (yang aku lupa apa nama warnanya).

Untuk edisi permanen, Colour Tattoo punya 10 warna. Aku baru punya 2 warna yaitu Audacious Ashpalt (grey with shimmer) and Pomegranate Punk (purple browny with slight of shimmer). Kenapa aku milih warna ini? Karena aku suka banget nonton makeup tutorial videonya Lisa Eldridge dan dia suka banget pake warna ini. Bedanya, cream eyeshadow yang dia pake keluaran MUFE. Waktu aku mau beli ini Drugstore lagi ngasih promo buy 1 get 1 50% off, jadi aku random aja milih Pomegranate Punk dan ternyata it's wearable.

Aku baru nyobain yang Audacious Ashpalt to hangout last week. Sadly, it doesn't last 24 hours like it claims. Cream eyeshadow ini cuma bertahan selama sekitar 12 jam and started to crease after 7 hours. Hmm i think it's not bad at all. Warnanya yang abu - abu cantik banget buat smokey eyes tapi wearable juga buat sehari - hari. Untuk urusan packaging, it stores in glass jar with black cap same as the other cream eyeshadow. Eyeshadownya pugmented banget and that's why most of people use this as eye primer before they use powder eyeshadow.

(Late) July Haul

Hello! I'm sorry for a long hiatus. It's simply because i have worked last month from 9 am- 5.30 pm. Plus, since it was a holy month for moslem (and we called it Ramadhan) i have to get up on 3 am everyday to eat and in the morning until 6 pm I'm fasting. I couldn't sleep late at night. I have a lack of sleep and my dark puffy eyes become darker. Oh no, my only saviour this time is just an eyecream and a concealer.

By the way, that's the picture of my haul. It came on early August and some of them come from my friend who lives in San Fransisco.

Finally, i bought Sigma brush eventhough it's in travel edition and i've got it in my favourite colour; teal! I bought all of mascaras and eyeliner at Drugstore except Anastasia topcoat mascara. It's a sample that i've got from Nordstrom, and also the BB cream.

The main reason why i bought Benefit skincare is because the reviewer in Makeupalley said it moisturizes and suits for dry skin, and it does! I'll review it next week maybe.
