Semenjak mencoba lipstik matte dari Purbasari dan lipbalm dari Jar of Beauty, saya pun jadi ketagihan untuk mencari - cari tau produk lokal lain yang mana yang menarik dan bisa saya coba. Bener - bener kali ini aku ngejilat ludah sendiri karena jadi cinta banget sama produk lokal hahaha. Kebetulan, pas lagi liat - liat Toko Kosmetik Jopankar beberapa waktu yang lalu, aku ditawarin sama sales assistant-nya lipstik ini. Karena harganya yang murah dan  pas banget saat itu mbak-nya lagi pake salah satu warna dari Mineral Botanica, aku pun jadi penasaran dan memutuskan untuk mencoba, sayangnya saking lakunya lipstik ini jadi hanya tersisa dua varian warna; Orchid Pink dan Merlot.

10 Best Beauty Products In 2012

I'm back after long long time no post, as usual! So, before this holy December month end i will post about 10 best beauty products based on my opinions. For you who maybe doesn't suit well with the products that i mentioned, well, people has different reaction with every products.

  1. Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Normal/Dry Skin

This is the best foundation i've ever had. Yes, this one defeat Bobbi Brown Skin Finish and MAC Fix Fluid foundation. It has medium coverage, doesn't dry and leave a patch, and the most important is it works as second skin for me. I love love love this product and i absolutely will purchased this again when it's run out.

  2. Majolica Majorca Mascara

Long name and long live to this mascara. Most of mascara has ended up 4-6 months after we opened it but this case doesn't occur to this mascara. I've purchased it since February this year and it haven't dry yet until i wrote this post. Another reason why i like this product is it lengthened my lashes, waterproof, and doesn't smudge. For the price, yes it's quite pricey but it's worth for every money you spent!

  3. NYX Lipcream in Addis Abbaba

I used to afraid that this colour doesn't suite to my complexion but i'm wrong. This is the dupe of MAC Girl About Town and it's a great colour for all skin colors from light to dark. If you think fuschia color like this lipcream just suit for party, no you totally wrong. It suits for everyday and so wearable.

  4. Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden

Many people raving about UDPP Original version but i like this one better because i don't like shimmery or glittery eyeshadows and UDPP in Eden is the resolution to decrease the amount of glitters or shimmers in all of eyeshadows.

  5. Urban Decay Lipstick in Sellout

Matte sheer lipstick that same with my lip colour. It's totally MLBB (my lips but better) product after Revlon Mauve It Over. The controversy is just the smell. It smells like chemical product and i'm so confused why people says it smells like marshmallow or candy. Whatever, but i love this product.

  6. Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner

It's not my first eyeliner but it's second. It doesn't smudge and the applicator is the greatest among another liquid eyeliner. This one is waterproof too.

  7. Fresh Sugar Lip Therapy

I got it as a birthday threat from Sephora and i love love love it! I never try any lip scrub or lip exfoliator but this one has a great job to moisturise my lips. I always apply it before i go to bed and in the morning, i feel my lips very moist and soft.

  8. Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Loose Powder

This one suits for normal to dry skin like me. It melts on your skin right after you apply it on your face to set foundation or just to set your concealer.

  9. NYX Powder Blush in Teracotta

Harumi Sudrajat said one of the best blush colour for Asian Medium skin is teracotta. I sort of curious what teracotta colour is and it's orange-y with slight of yellow gold. It's like a sunset and when the first time i applied this blush i fell in love! It's very glowing and makes your cheeks looks healthy.

  10. Urban Decay Roller Girl Eyeshadow Palette

This one is wearable, more wearable than Urban Decay Naked palette, i think. I use it as my signature eye look. It's travel friendly too.

Best Beauty Salon in Town!

Hello! After long long loooong time no post, finally i'm back again. By the way, start from now i will post with bahasa for nasionalism reason. Yes, fellas. Jadi dari kemarin tuh aku lagi semedi mikirin mau ngelanjutin blog ku tetep pake english atau ganti dengan bahasa, atau dua - duanya. Bukan apa - apa, bahasa inggrisku emang nggak begitu bagus dan aku pikir, nggak ada salahnya toh post dengan bahasa. Toh, itu bisa lebih meninggikan rasa nasionalisku hehehe.

Oke, kali ini aku mau nge - review salon favorit aku kalau aku ke Bandung. Namanya emang agak cheesy, Salon Memori.

Salon ini udah ada dari jaman papa - mamaku pacaran pas kuliah dulu, bahkan udah ada dari jaman nenekku. So yes, this place is a legend i think. Dulu waktu awal - awal tempatnya bukan di Dago atas, tapi di suatu daerah yang aku sendiri lupa namanya dan katanya kecil banget. Kalau kamu sekarang kesana, you can see this place is big as another famous salon in Jakarta.

Kalau aku ke Bandung, aku nggak akan pernah ngelewatin kesempatan buat treatment disini, either cuma sekedar hair spa, creambath, atau meni - pedi. Yang aku suka dari salon ini adalah harganya murah banget! Bayangin aja, hair mask cuma seharga Rp. 32.500! Itu semua udah termasuk blow kering (pasti tau dong salon yang cuma nge blow rambut setengah kering) dan hair tonik. Oya, krim buat hair spa yang dipake adalah produk dari Wella.

Pegawai di salon ini semuanya baik - baik dan ramah, dari dulu sampe sekarang mamaku bilang dia nggak pernah nemuin pegawai yang sombong atau pun suka meremehkan pelanggan. Yap, kadang kita suka nemu kan pegawai salon yang kalau liat orang pake baju ala kadarnya kayak hotpants, t-shirt, dan flip - flop terus mereka suka menganggap pelanggan itu bukan dari kalangan berada. Di salon Memori kita nggak akan nemuin kasus seperti itu. Soal tip pun begitu, mereka nggak maksa. Kalau dikasih ya sukur, kalau nggak ya nggak akan ngedumel atau ngambek.

Hal lain yang aku suka dari salon ini adalah nge-blownya nggak sakit, pelan dan nggak ditarik - tarik. Walaupun begitu, hasil blownya tahan sampe 3 hari, lho buat yang rambutnya wavy dan ngembang banget seperti aku.

Selain hair mask, treatment andalanku adalah meni - pedi. Hal akhirnya baguus banget, jari - jari tangan dan kaki keliatan bersih terus ada warna slide of pinkish-nya. Produk yang mereka pakai emang bukan produk high-end brand macam OPI, Essie, dll. Yang drugstore brand aja kayak Revlon atau Faceshop. Prinsip mereka, yang penting murah tapi kualitasnya bagus daripada pakai yang high-end tapi ternyata palsu. Hmm, sayangnya di Jakarta kita jarang banget nemuin salon dengan kualitas bagus tapi tetap bikin kantong 'sehat'.

  Ada yang tau mungkin salon yang berkualitas baik tapi affordable di Jakarta?

Eid Mubarak; Food, Family, Makeup, Love

Hello, everyone! Happy Eid Mubarak for all Moslem's around the world! It's time to forgive each other, renew relationships, and become a better person. Hope we can meet another Ramadan next year. Amen.

For me, Eid is a special time for my big family gathered, eat ketupat with another food that serves by my grand mother, and received money as much as possible lol. I usually went to grand mother's house by my father side after pray, then i went to grand mother's house by my mother side in the afternoon. I prefer my grandma from my mother side because she always cooks delicious food and cake and i really love her. She's the greatest women in the world!

This time, i will post a lot of photos of Eid Mubarak tradition start from  food, family, what i wear, until makeup what i use. Warning, this is a long post!

This is a food called pempek and come from my father's hometown, Palembang. Every year we always have open house Eid party and always serve this.

Sambal goreng ati, the greatest!

What i most like about Eid is THR or money like angpao in China. It's given from adult to young people like son, daughter, nephew, and niece. Eventhough i'm already 20 years old but i'm still hoping this money lol. In Eid day, we must dressed up in our best outfits, bling bling accessories, fancy shoes, and beautiful makeup.

 

I wore peach kaftan dress on Eid day. The first thing that came in my mind when i saw this dress is my Tarte blissful blush. It's a pretty dress with pink pearls around the neck. I'm using my usual neutral makeup and my new Rimmel lasting finish kate moss lipstick in no. 8.

Mom & Sisters

My mom is the oldest daughter and this is her little sisters. My mom has Indian blood from my grand father and Padang from my grand mother. In this picture my mom's in the middle. Right beside her is my aunt named Yossi. She's the second daughter. Both of them is Tourism Ambassador of Jambi. On the left is the youngest daughter and her name is Media. She really loves makeup too. When i was 3 years old we lived together and every time she put her lipstick on i always take a look and she helped me to put her lip balm on. I still remembered it and i know where i've got the feeling of love for makeup.

This is me with my cousins, and we're the oldest of three child. Sadly, i'm the oldest grand daughter but i'm the smallest. My cousin whose stand in the middle is the tallest and she's still in junior high school.

(Late) July Haul

Hello! I'm sorry for a long hiatus. It's simply because i have worked last month from 9 am- 5.30 pm. Plus, since it was a holy month for moslem (and we called it Ramadhan) i have to get up on 3 am everyday to eat and in the morning until 6 pm I'm fasting. I couldn't sleep late at night. I have a lack of sleep and my dark puffy eyes become darker. Oh no, my only saviour this time is just an eyecream and a concealer.

By the way, that's the picture of my haul. It came on early August and some of them come from my friend who lives in San Fransisco.

Finally, i bought Sigma brush eventhough it's in travel edition and i've got it in my favourite colour; teal! I bought all of mascaras and eyeliner at Drugstore except Anastasia topcoat mascara. It's a sample that i've got from Nordstrom, and also the BB cream.

The main reason why i bought Benefit skincare is because the reviewer in Makeupalley said it moisturizes and suits for dry skin, and it does! I'll review it next week maybe.
